Follow one woman's dream to sing in a popular nightclub among the legendary Lena Horne, Nat King Cole,  Billie Holiday, Dinah Washington and other unforgettable musical icons! Leela Jones' struggle begins with the fierce club owner Georgia and leads to a showdown of grit and grace! This dynamic showcase gives tribute to all the clubs that helped to launch the legendary stars we endear.

Witness an unparallel and soulful masterpiece of quintessential dancers who celebrate a rhythmic footwork's tribute to Black Dance in America. "Feetastic" brings to the stage African, Modern, Tap, Hip-Hop and Praise Dance with uncompromising artistic flamboyant!  This showcase features some of Baltimore's finest of showmanship 


Take a courageous and unforgettable walk in the shoes of world changers who stepped on the battlefield of justice with grit, grace and no guarantee of survival! Meet the likes of Ida B. Wells Barnett, Dred Scott, Daisy Bates, Nat Turner, Mary Ellen Pleasant, Frederick Douglass, Mahalia Jackson, Madam C.J. Walker, Nelly, William Cathy and more. This is a showcase not to be missed!

"Low Down Dirty Blues" 
Inside a Rocky Mount, North Carolina juke-joint known for its floor-shaking, wall thumping and partying nightlife, are six blues singers vying for a national record contract.  Only one king or queen of the blues can land the deal, but it will take everything he or she has to get it.  This fierce competition breeds scandal, backroom deals and alliances that scream betrayal.  See who comes out on top in this muscial race, where anyone who has what it takes can cross the finish line. 

"Love Letters to Black Women" 
Inside a man's heart is where every woman desires to be so she can hear what is often Not said, or demonstrated.  From the mistakes made, to the vows of commitment, this unforgettable showcase combines music, dance and drama to create the elusiveness and meshing of love in action!

"The Rumble In My Voice" 
This powerful showcase pays tribute to African American women who served in the trenches of the Civil Rights Movement.  Witness the perilous journeys of Fannie Lou Hamer, Unita Blackwell, Annelle Ponder, Annie Pearl Avery, Gloria Richardson, Diane Nash, Septima Clark and many more.  Together, they formed an unbreakable chain of courage that lives on the history pages of our nation.

"Daddy's Home: Yesterday's Balladeers" 
BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND: It's vocal mastery at its best when the iconic voices of yesterdays' balladeers take to the stage. Join us as we recreate the ambience of showmanship at the Fox Theater in Saint Louis, Missouri, where the balladeer voices of Johnny Taylor, Bobby Womack, Jerry Butler, Otis Redding, Lou Rawls & Wilson Pickett take to the stage.
